In the province of East Azerbaijan near Tabriz there is a quaint and mysterious thirteenth century village that the homes of its inhabitant have been made in cone-shaped caves. These naturally formed compressed volcanic ash formations have made village look like a gigantic termite colony. Some of these houses are at least 700 years old and are so peculiar and unique that everybody likes to visit them once.
