Kandovan Village Travel Guide

In the province of East Azerbaijan near Tabriz there is a quaint and mysterious thirteenth century village that the homes of its inhabitant have been made in cone-shaped caves. These naturally formed compressed volcanic ash formations have made village look like a gigantic termite colony.
